Primary Interest:
Relic Hunting
I switched gears from relic hunting to coinshootin this past weekend. I headed north to Ohio to dig with my dad. We hit the same nasty ground park we always hit. the grass was nice and low so we knew we would dig some silver. This park has been hunted for years by the locals but it still gives up the coins. It is beside a steel mill and the crap that has spewed out of the smokestacks for the past hundred years has settled into the ground. Most machines struggle to get any depth and my Explorer even has a hard time but it gets the job done. Since my dad and I first hit the park 5 years ago we have dug over 200 silver coins and this weekend was no exception. Here are my finds for 2 1/2 days of non stop diggin. It sure was a blast. Thanks for looking!

Now that's a ton of silver there Marc!
That's more than I've found so far this year and you did it in 2 1/2 days.

Well done!
Mike

Nice coin.WTG.

You two should be ashamed of yourselves for hogging all of the good stuff like that! Think how many other detectors will go to bed tonight with no silver to show for their efforts. Shame, shame, shame.......

I know, I am just jealous! You guys did fantastic!

Lots of silver; no kidding! That's a great display, with the symmetry and all. I love that German coin as the centerpiece of it all; any idea on its value?

Wowzers!!!! Them's purdy! It looks like a coin shop threw up!! That rocks dude! I found two mercs one time
at the same tree in a park and that was my big roll so far.
