We bought our first detector, ( garrett 250) took it in back yard & couple of other places, got really frustrated, we were only digging up Bottle Caps and tin foil. But we kept at it... Then we took it camping this past weekend, and spent alot of time playing with it getting used to sounds and stuff found a bunch of coins .74 cents to be exact lol nothing much to mention but glad we were getting the hang of it . Came home sunday, went out feeling a little more confident..
We found A leg of an Wood burning stove, pretty easy to figure out what it was, ornate & pretty cool. Then We found a really odd looking thing, My husband & I had no clue, but someone who was with us ( A die hard western watcher ) knew right away what it was. The step of a horse & buggy, or stage coach, carriage. NOW how cool is that ? I'm trying to figure out how to post pictures to share with you all...
