Went out with Mastereagle a couple weeks ago and hunted some yards. There were 3 houses, most being built around 1900 to 1920 time period. I found a few things that I thought I would post.
Among the junk, I managed two rings, a watch?, clock key? and 1940's wheatie and crumbled MO Sales Tax Token. The one ring is a childs 'yellow painted' tin ring. I was stoked when I dug the large mens ring, but unfortunately, it is just a junk ring. No marks, and where the gold color is gone, you can tell its just a pot metal core. Looks flashy though.
I posted the "watch item" on the Whatz it forum. The back has constellation map showing the North Star, Big Dipper and Ursa Major. Was this maybe a wrist compass or something? I don't know. Anyway, here ya go.............
