It's got some neat color to it. I like the little red horny inchworm.

Nice color boss !!!! Thanks for sharing !!!

Very cool color! A little tweeky on the left hand side, so not certain. But it's a heck of a lot better than nothing- which I what I found today after 3 hours. Foo! Yakker

Every time I saw some flint that is what I would say to myself. After looking for 5 hours and finding nothing but brokes and pieces I decided to walk back to my truck. In the road in a washout this was laying there. Go figure
Looked it up its a Jacks Reef 1500-1000 B.P.

Dang! 5 hours!…I would have given up after 2! Always nice to find a little prize to reward all the hard work. Rock's streak continues!

I think it is!.. with that bird effagy & all.. the southern ceremonial complex believed in birdmen .. of a higher plane.. usually represented by falcons.. so they .. said... I do too.

Impact fractured and fire popped.
Exquisite material and the color is amazing.

Bone2stone.

Thanks it was a nice pick me up after a long day of looking. Its Flintridge...not so pretty on the other side made from a flake but still looks good on the side shown. That is the side that will be showing in the frame.

You are correct impact fracture. They do burn the fields sometimes to clear the grass before planting so it could have a fire pop on it.
