Not always the case but, what I often see, is something posted which is hoped to be special or valuable; as soon as a few replies come in suggesting otherwise (or posing easily answered questions which would confirm it) the OP loses interest.

FWIW - I have joined a number of Forums to do research. I revisit most of them BUT only for the purpose of researching a specific subject. A few times I have asked questions but mostly just do Forum searches, etc.

Well i was just wondering Maybe they forgot there pass word or maybe just lost the site location ? I do know a lot of people are not real computer savy and can not find there way back . But this is just a guess.

I have been here since 2014 and really enjoy the Forum!
What I have experienced during this time, is might I say "Trolls" who attack ones freedom of ideas that contradict to theirs.

Probably have a question about one item thinking it’s rare or valuable and turns out it’s common or only worth the hunt…. I hope to meet some people and learn some new techniques. Maybe some new spots to hunt/prospect. I think imma stick around and bother the site for a while.

I Can only Comment from My own Experience from the Early Years
of the Internet. I Used to Fnd Detecting Sites . Ask a question about the Minelab Sovereign and If I Didn't get an Answer before I Left the Site, I Never checked Back. Most Because I Didn't Remember Where. and a Few Because I Got the Answer Elsewhere

though back then there Were Dozens of Websites on Detecting,
Now I Believe there is Just TreasureNet so my crusin'
