at that age if he wants to break it off with dad fine -- dad then should be allowed to "disown" him and pay no farther support for him --so be it. your on yer on kiddo.

A friend of mine had a child during a marriage a long time ago. She got custody for 50 weeks out of the year. He's lives in a trailer home and does every job he can do just to stay afloat. The ex-wife lives in a mansion in North Texas and makes A LOT of money. He has to give her 20 percent of his paycheck.

if yer a working class man---its pay up , shut up and suffer sucker --thats the ex wifes and courts point of veiw these days--its criminal how women are allowed to poison the kids relationship with their dads and suffer nothing in return for doing it.

had it done to me by my ex with my 2 children.

and they wonder why men "go nuts" one day

Yup. The "system" has reduced fatherhood to little more than a funding source, painting men as uncaring, less-than-equal parents. Men aren't entitled to feelings, emotions, or any sort of equal protection or rights. All we are to many courts is walking wallets.

Did the monthly visits and paid the weekly support and mandatory insurance and clothes and school and all other costs for 15 years plus. Even after the youngest graduated and moved in with me I hauled him over one state away one weekend per month except when i was in the hospital for five months. My wife hauled him a couple of times and then let him borrow my car for the trips. Once he got his own car I quit hauling him. Nine years later daughter has nothing to do with ex and son hasn't seen her in two years. I have nothing to do with her bad luck and heartache and am not losing any sleep over it. Couldn't ever figure out how to get even without hurting the kids too so I never

I fought with DHS (Department of Her Services) in Oklahoma for many years. Without fail they would seize my income tax return or take almost all of my check, sayin I was behind in my child support. When I protested that, they would admit I was not behind and would issue a release. They outright told me to my face that they did not care about me, and they were not there to help me at all. One thing I found ironic is that most of their employees were divorced women whose husbands were behind thousands of dollars in child support. I always paid my child support without fail. I did have a little bit to do with getting them to quit using the phrase 'Dead Beat Dads' in their press releases, too.
