Hi folks. Forgive me in advance, I'm new here. Can you tell me about these, plz? Found them with my deceased Aunt's geode and geode slice collection.

I'll take a shot at what they are, I'm thinking Chalcedony, lower pics Chalcedony with druzy, they kind of almost remind me of the Chalcedony desert roses.

I forgot to mention that the 2 pics are "top view" and "bottom view" of same 2 pieces.

Welcome to the Forum. What I'm seeing are slices from a geode or agate taken very close to the rind of the stone given what you've said that they are the same pieces top and bottom view. Interesting contrast. The inner core looks to have rather large compacted crystals, the rind would have had a bubbly or bumpy character not uncommon for that type of stone.

Not sliced, very textured. Each concentric circle humped up a little. Almost corrugated

I was just guessing but I thought in a little way they reminded me of these but with druzy, whatever they are they are really cool specimens!

I stand corrected then I cant really tell any texture from the photo as they look polished to me but it explains the crystaline structure. I believe Steve is correct, Chalcedony Roses like he has pictured with a coat of druzy crystals.
