Id help on copper chain

Found these yesterday in an area where we find alot of colonial era relics. The chain is copper and I think it may be horse tack. Anybody know for sure please reply. Dont know why i have the buffalo nickel in pic but other piece appears to be decorative copper as well. Thanks for looking!!!

Those types of chains are often either(horse) curb bit chains or Shako military cap chains.
A better pic of the other item might help the ID or at least a description of whats on it.

Looks to be a bit small for any type of horse tack . And a better picture or two would help the ID . But from what this picture shows me it looks to be a old bracelet that once was plated . It's now in pieces and missing the clasps . The small piece looks like it was some type of charm that was part of it . IMHO ,

Yes You are right ,I didnt notice how small it was. That type of chain is still called a curb chain for jewelry.
