I found these as a child on the playground at school (many years ago). The gravel in the playground came from SW Missouri, likely Beaver Creek. Any help on identification?

Welcome to the site Mae. Looks like knifes

Nice finds for the school playground. All I used to find were little plastic hair bows. Lol! On a good day a nickel or dime.

wish I was aware of such as a kid, instead of wasting the best years my back had to offer.

nice saves, and welcome to TN.

Welcome! Sheesh!- we should all be so lucky to a)be so aware of our surroundings as children and b)find such things- and keeps them! Nice job. They're knives- the one w/o a tip might be a flint of some sort- looks like it's got a fair amount of 'crust' - a layer of color different from the inside, which happens over time. the other's a quartzite? Nevertheless, that's what you've got. I feel that most finds are knives and not spear or arrow points. Just considering that it's got to fly, it's got to be small enough and it least symmetrical. A knife often shows wear down one side more than the other- or is broad and chunky (or slim, for that matter)- and shows signs of re-sharpening/wear.
Hope you still hunt now and then...(?)

I was alway a very observant child. I loved anything I could "hunt" for. I grew up digging in the garden searching for old glass marbles, picking four-leaf clovers, fossil hunting at the creek, and combing the forest for morel mushrooms. I'd come home from school with pockets full of crynoid fossils, and every now and again something special like a piece of jewelry or money, or a point. I guess I haven't changed much. I can't say I do to much arrowhead hunting specifically (I would if I had more time!), but I definitely keep an eye out for them when I'm outdoors. Every now and again I'll spot one, but I'll admit, I'm not very good at it.

Tough hunt in the water around here. Just too many darn rocks and they are all the same color.
