I am going to let the guys from your area comment. You found some good ones. I was just looking at your drill post :)

I'm not from your area and I am no expert, but it looks like either a Cobbs knife or a Sedalia. I think both are archaic with the Sedalia being a little older at 8000-5000bp. This Sedalia was found in a creek in Illinois. I think yours and mine are both made with Burlington Chert. Nice find whatever it is, thanks for the view.

Nice find. I think you have a chisel or gouge there. Very cool.

The last pic does make it look like some type chisel, or maybe end scraper, it just doesn't have a very defined bit.

I was thinking adze, but I think the other guys are right. Some sort of chisel or gouge. Nice one though!

Adze, Chisel, gouge, it's a wood working tool for sure. I also think the smaller end is the bit-end. I've found or seen 3 or 4 others like this from So Ill. Usually there is extensive use wear on the small end.

it is nice and most likely one of the types that have been described on this thread
at first glance i thought drill..........that thought changed when i saw how large it is
i think gator is on the right track
i also think wev'e got as close as we are probably going to........
we are all right about the fact that it is a very cool piece
