found these in central south dakota, most interested in the brown one, its super cool and heavy@ 90 grams, its 2 inches tall from one end of grain to the other. inch to inch and a half in diameter. and info appreciated

I'm voting pet. wood too. If you have a good magnifying loupe or currency checker mini microscope (I get a 60 x one on ebay for a couple bucks), you may be able to see cell walls - it will look like little honeycombs. The tan and brown pet wood is better for seeing this than AZ's colorful stuff.
