ID this metal type

have found many items of this material.
Quite hard, always has this 'bubbled' texture, have been describing as pewter,
but seems to be too hard,

The first pic is a button, so old & swollen, it looks like a bolete mushroom,
#2 is a Dennison Adhesive glue tube piercer,
#3 are two broken spoon bowls,
I'm adding more pix of that button.
