Idaho Backcountry Prospecting Via Dirtbike

Anyone here in SW Idaho that's fairly capable on his or her dirtbike? I moved here six months ago and I'm itchin' to ride and itchin' to prospect. I figure to combine them both so I can get me, and some light equipment, to the most remote areas. Plus, it'll probably keep me from scratching up my new truck too much. Does this sound fun and productive to anyone else here?
