Instead of selling the forum, why not sell shares to charter members much like stock certificates? Right now "Charter Member" is a misnomer as a charter member is really a name for one of the original founders of the forum and the forum really doesn't have a charter as such. I would love to have a "share" saying I own 1/10000% of Tnet to display on the wall next to my computer. I don't know the ends and outs of the process but it seems to me Marc could incorporate as a non-profit organization and elect officers, Marc of course being the CPO and major owner. Any and all proceeds would go back into the company except maybe a salary for Marc and perhaps expenses of the officers. It would take a lot of the burden off of Marc and would become a team effort.
