My family and I found some rocks in a "gem mine" at a local amusement park and couldn't identify some of what we found. There was a identification chart at the mine, but some of these I couldn't match up with what was shown. Not looking to see if they are worth anything, just want to help my kids identify them.
image.webp I think this one is aventurine.

image.webp This one seems brittle as it had a chuck break off while being transported with the other rocks in a plastic bag.

If these pictures don't come through, I'll try to get on my laptop later and upload them through that instead of my iPhone. Thanks for your help.

The fifth one is Quartz. The on the left, the blue one, is artificially colored. The on the right is just tanish Quartz. Stained by fe.

The third is one of two options. Obsidian with a mineral incorporated into it. Or it's a piece of coal with possible sulfur or some other impurities.

Fourth is calcite. You can see the cleavage in the structure. Scratch a little off put vinegar to it. If it fizzes it's calcite.

The second one is perplexing. But I think it might be adventurine.
