Hi everyone, new here and computer illiterate. Hoping someone could tell me what this cluster of pebbles and crystals is. Found it next to a creek on lower Eyre peninsula south Australia. It's extremely heavy. Thought it may be some heamatite that melted in a bushfire and glued itself to the pebbles. Got me little stumped.

:hello: Welcome to tnet! Your specimen looks more generally like conglomerate. Maybe there is a chunk of gold within the matrix.

Thanks mate, I did find small traces of gold in other specimens. And I hope so but it would be a shame to break it down to find out. Hmmm. Dilemma.

Found out a little more about it. I do believe they call them pudding stones. Don't think they've ever been found around this area.
