I found this small metal tin today. I am not sure if the green center is the bottom or top and the green is very smooth feeling. It appears that this tin may be able to open but I have been unable to open it and don't want to force it at this point. I have Googled many different phrases to see if I could find a picture of something similar and no luck.

My E-TRAC was screaming on it. ha ha. I just had to dig it. Any clue?????? downsized_0912122226a.webpdownsized_0912122226.webp0912122226b.webp

new one on me.i have know clue.nice find

Yes..I still haven't opened it. Used a bunch of WD40 on it. Won't budge. Maybe it doesn't open. Should I force it open? I feel like I need to be more patient. ha ha ... not my nature at all.

You might try to tap on the sides against a piece of wood to loosin it up.That helps sometimes. Good luck

Try some pb blaster stuff is amazing

Ok ... I will try those things next. Wish me luck. lol

OMG that is exactly what it is!!! So amazing you found this or remembered this. ha ha ha wow. What kind of beer? lol:occasion14:

I think something that makes this even funnier to me is when I was a kid, my oldest brother pulled a prank similar to the purpose of this item. He would put a purse in the middle of the street and put monopoly money around it. He tied a long string to the purse and hid behind a tree. Random people would stop their car and when they went to reach for the purse, my brother would pull the string. ha ha ha ha

I can't stop laughing because...we all thought it was some sort of relic. Thanks again, Crazyfish!!! :icon_cheers:
