If you dig something shaped like this in SC

it's supposed to have charleston & servant on it It's still way to hot for an all day dig down here but I got out for an hour after work friday at a local small construction site. There's been several confederate buttons dug there and I found a nice 1847 large cent a week ago.well weh I first saw this from the shape and the look I thought I had just dug another slave tag. Not this time but it's still a neat find. The company that made this medal went out of business back in 1894 due to some shady dealings.The Bufflao Bill theme on it was probably due to his popularity at the time.We're still waiting for some cooler weather so we can really start digging!

Neat find. I believe I would have a heart attack if I dug that up in SC thinking I had a slave tag.
