If you had to choose between the following 3 detectors which would you choose and why?
Fisher F2, Garrett Euro Ace (Ace 350), Teknetics Delta 4000

I haven't detected in about 11 years due to moving country and my first detector dying on me (Garrett Treasure Ace 100).
I first got that unit in 1998 and used it while I was living abroad. I would spend countless evenings roaming the beaches and mountains of Greece with that machine. In the mountains we would often find great things just lying on the surface not even needing the detector.
After moving back, the detector was never quite right. I don't know if it was moisture, corrosion from the salty beaches, underwater use, being banged one too many times or what but it has never been the same since. I've been meaning to get a new one now for the last decade but life keeps getting in the way. I've finally got some spare dollars to spend on myself and well, I really do want a new machine but I can't spare more than 300 for it; hence the question.
The machines have advanced quite a bit in the last decade!
I've been watching lots of videos on youtube trying to see which of the models in my price range I should get based on my needs.
Locally I hope to be getting to the usual suspects like old public parks, old beaches, homesteads, old store locations and such. All that date from 1650's to present.
Detector function Wishlist in order of importance
1. max depth penetration
2. soil mineralization stabilizer? (not sure what its called, remember I'm a newb since i only ever had the Ace 100
)
3. some sort of indicator of what kind of metal is in the soil
4. bonus would be the estimated depth
5. bonus bonus, I could use my ipod earphones
I need all the help I can get to figure out which one would best suit my needs.
I appreciate any and all advice, comments, etc
ps. feel free to suggest other machines in the price range, the 3 mentioned are only because they "seem" to have what I need but really I have no clue.
some finds in greece include:
lots of ww2 bullets, various pieces of ww2 mortars, ww2 pocket knife, tons of coins, jewelry, a dinosaur bone, cool rocks, a live ww2 aircraft bomb embedded in a large stone (yikes!), some kind of liquified metal bits from one of the beaches on Santorini (volcano island)
an acquaintance found a pot with a few dozen ancient Greek silver and gold Alexander the Great coins. Lucky bugger!
