IL DNR regulations question **** Please Help ****

2 yrs ago I had a permit to hunt in rock cut st. park. it was free and good for 3 yrs. you could not hunt in designated preserve areas. I only did the picnic areas to be safe.

Does anybody know where you get the permit from? I just always thought it was illegal on all state property here in IL.
 

Contact the park office where you want to detect. I would stick to the parks listed on the link.
 

I contacted the DNR

and received a response. Just have to apply at the park you want to detect, and they added, "obey the rules".
