Ill take dimes

Went to 2 banks today and first one said sorry all we can give you is 15.00 in pennies, second bank said all I have is 10.00 worth at this point I was frustrated. With 50.00 to spare I said just give me 50.00 in dimes. Only one roll produced but got a 1953 canadian and a 1942 merc first mer ever coin roll hunting I think I may step it up and start ordering dime boxes now lol , Have had luck with halves in past but this merc and canadian gave me the silver bug more than wheaties lol. Course Ill still hit pennies after the ih couple weeks ago. Dave

Nice job on the mercury dime! I have had lots and lots of fun hunting through dimes! I find at least 1 silver dime every dime box!

dimes have been good to me...i found 3 mercs so far this year

My first box of dimes gave me 7 rosies and a 1947 canadian. Now I haven't had a box with more than half that but I have been hooked on dimes ever since. They are a consistent producer, and while that lone dime may only be worth $1 it is still silver on the pile.
