I'm back
Hello, i was at an antique mall today, and i saw an abandoned lot by the waterside of the bay. With my inquisitive nature, i looked around the shore and only came up with a bottle, not even a bottle, but half a bottle( split vertically, quite odd) From what i saw on the half of the bottle it said VITATING STOPPE H MATTHEWS PAT. OCT 11 . Then i got home and goggled it and found a handful of references that said it was a gravitating stopper made in 1864! Very nice year and a good (half of) bottle. I plan to bottle hunt some old houses and a nearby river in a few weeks, but this will hold me. My MD will be back soon.
