Hello everyone. So I do youtube videos scuba diving local rivers. There is never a shortage of old bottles. Every dive I find them. Literally everywhere. I've started collecting them and I've actually found lot's of really good ones. The most recent one was a twist pepsicola bottle from 1941. I found it online for 80 bucks. So I'm wondering what do you guys do with your bottles? Is there a community that would follow my journey hunting old bottles. I have found an old dump site from a house that dates back 1900. Literally more bottles than I can count. I found SO MANY. I'm not even making that up. I find it so amazing. So anyways. I wanted to rant and get to know all you bottle collectors. If your more interested in what I've found, please check out my recent video and let me know if I'm on the right track. Thank you so much.

You found your bottle community right here. We'd love to see what you're finding, so throw on some pictures in addition to your video as you find 'em. Folks seem to like pictures more than videos because of the time factor. I know that 9 minutes doesn't sound long, but many of us only have time to take a quick peek at peoples' finds and get back to work.

Not only that, vids eat a lot of data which is an issue for me.

Your twisted top Pepsi from 1941 is a $1-5 bottle, what some "sucker fisherman" is asking online in hopes of finding someone foolish enough to buy a bottle like that has nothing to do with it's true value. Check Ebay "sold listings" for the most up top date selling prices for modern machine made bottles, very few of which have much value, UNLESS they are rare and desirable small town variants or ACL's. That doesn't mean don't grab what you can, BUT look for older stuff that is embossed, or unembossed but pontiled if you are looking to make money doing this... Good luck, the spot you're in seems to holding lots of "newer" stuff, but you never know.
