I'M JINXED

I finally  figured it  out  ,, My  last  gold  find  was  an  18k fat  gold wedding  band about 4 weeks back. but everyone around me is hitting home run gold ..Its worth  about  1200 dollars  retail  ...  I'm  convinced  now  that it  jinxed  me  ..Im heading  down to  the  spot tonight  where  I  found  it  and  Throwing  it  back into  the Ocean.. say goodby to the fat guy.. Jinx is  lifted  Guzz1

I like the way you think!! Yeah see with that investment I could afford to come to FL and bring you good luck lol or atleast go ahead of you and clear the way of all pulltabs and trash because I dig it all even knowing that it will be trash, because one day! I will prove myself wrong.

Don't feel your jinxed, it's the beaches themselves.

I thought yesterday with all the waves and the sand movement that it would be target city, boy was I wrong. I spent 3 hours at the beach and found 5 targets, 3 I couldn't recover because the tide was coming in and I was already neck deep. One thing I discovered was the sand that had come off the beach, it's still there, its just in the water now. The places that used to be knee deep are now ankle deep. There are targets on shore where the sand washed off and there are targets out very deep. I just need to take my scuba with me.

If you really want the 18k ring to have a good home and I can pass some of my luck over to you, throw it this way but when I run up on you and Cotton please.

You'll find again, just give it time, a little more time and the stuff will start showing up again. (I hope)

Hey Guzz,We're having the same curse down here.JP has it right.It 's called "sanded in".Until
the wind and water come in at the right angle,I'm afraid it's going to stay that way.After the
waves we've had I though it might change,but like mentioned earlier,it just took the sand
from the beach and put more on the bottom.What was shallow is now worse.Got to wait
for a change or go to other beaches.Keep looking for bottom changes,a tropical storm,or
think of some place that isn't hunted much or is an unusual place to hunt.Good luck, Joe

I am doing fine with my beachhunter 300... maybe you guys need a new machine. On a serious note the above guys are right. I noticed that yesterday that the sand that was on the beach is now in the water covering up most stuff. I bet that 14K wedding band I found yesterday was a fresh drop and it was down 15-20"

wow your getting some depth out of that 300, I have had good results in increased depth with my DFX and the super 12 I placed on it. I think I am gonna send the BH in this winter for a 12 too.

Can I be there when you toss it back so I can practice with it
