I'm on a roll!
Hey gang!
I wanted to get out again before the weather get too bad (this weekend
) I pulled up some info on the net for parks close to home. There are so many tucked away off the beaten path. There are no signs of them on main roads, you just have to know where they are. Anyway.....I hit 4 of them today!
They were fun to find.....and I'm fairly certain that they have not been hunted. I found some clad, which is fine for me. One park I hit was really large with two play areas covered in sand. I was excited. I really didn't find too much there at first. I went over to the second play area and found a kids coin drop. There must have been 20 pennies! Lucky for me though, one was a '39 wheatie!
Then I found the bracelet. Just the clip on the end was showing in the sand. I pulled up on it and it just kept coming! I almost passed out. It's beautiful and heavy. When I got it home....cleaned it up and examined it.....it turned out to be costume. Boo! I'm still gonna wear it.
Went to the last park.....local by my house. I know this park is hunted, I just get lucky occasionally. It's were I found the little silver ring and the SAC dollar. Well, I found her twin today in the same spot. I must have missed it somehow last time. I always rescan my holes, so I not sure how that happened.
I was freezing cold when I got home, but I sure had a good time.
