I'm on the silver now! 3rd Silver for 2016 + 4 Wheats and a lot of clad
I am currently borrowing/test driving VMIairpwr's Safari and its already growing on me. Obviously it is a big upgrade from my 40 dollar Bounty Hunter lol. So i went to a park where I have found CW bullets and an old Chinese coin and immediately I hit a clad quarter where i have previously gone over. Then my next target was a Wheatie but before I could start covering the majority of the park some Soccer players showed up and took up the whole park. I went to a school nearby that I had drove past and it looked old so I started swinging. After 2 more wheats I knew it was a good area and BOOM i got a screaming signal at around 6-7 inches depth and it turned out to be my first dug Silver Washington (1952 D) about 30 minutes later and a few yards away I pulled a 1941 Merc! So thats 3 silvers for 2016 but I know that school has some more. Ended up with $2.19 in clad, 4 wheats, a Marlboro Money Clip, Canadian Penny, an earring (not silver, most likely just trash) and some other things. If you can ID Brass screw in thing go for it! I'll clean up the silver see if I can't get that tarnish off.
