It is 50 percent tin and 50 percent zinc.
It's a war coin made for two years, 1944 and 1945.
Unfortunately they minted 1 billion, 629 million so they arent worth much.
My coin book shows about 30 to 50 cents.
Where'd you find that?

Sorry about that. A friend brought it from his coin shop. Said it was found in PA Chester county area
