I think there stand offs for ceramic insulators the holes are for wire ties to hold the ceramic in place? HH

They are lightning rod holders. You are missing the lightning rods. The "Y" goes upsidedown on the peak of the roof, nails or screws are driven through the insulator material to prevent groundingg to the roof. The lightning rod screws into the threaded hole at the top. A cable is usually threaded through the lighttning rod and attached to a ground stake away from the house. If you could find the complete set with lightnig rods, they are valuable if you find the right collector or someone restoring an old house or barn. Not commonly used today but was very common in the early 1800-1900's. Nice find.
