It was nice yesterday, Sun was out and it almost got up to 60.

Now, the weather geeks say this is coming...
(note that it says 1 to 2 FEET of snow.. beathead.gif)

...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM SUNDAY TO 5 AM PDT
MONDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 2
feet. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...Cascade mountains of Whatcom and Skagit Counties,
including the Mount Baker Ski Area.

* WHEN...From 5 AM Sunday to 5 AM PDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Gusty winds and heavy
snow could bring down tree branches.

Life is tough. Put on your big boy pants. Winter storms can happen to in the Cascades until late May, and snow can happen above 7000 feet any time.

Having lived here since '03, I'm well aware of those facts, but thank you for sharing. need_coffee.gif

Our biggest snowfall events typically come in early Spring, but so far this
storm has not effected us. It's 46F. outside, and I can't imagine it dropping
low enough for snow, but in reality the wind is the largest concern I have.
All of the power in our area is still overhead, and high winds have a tendency
to blow trees over, meaning our power could be out for several days.

Not sure what those weather folks were smoking...but all that
happened here was a chilly breeze and our regular cold rain. Never
got colder than 40F. 8-)

Thats the JOB to have. They only have to be right 5% of the time:BangHead:...And that's on a good day:(

The best job ever of playing the % game.
Every forecast is a 0-100% of something for the area.
Then they'll throw in the "Isolated" term.
Seen a rain bomb a couple of years back. We got 4" up the way they had a sprinkle.
Rain, is better than deep snow.
Ya missed the bullet

Burrrr!:laughing7:

Super easy Derek..you can check the tutorials in the HELP section.

Once again, we've gone from directly from a wet/cold Spring right
into hot weather. In years past, we always had a few weeks of 70-75
degree weather before the hotter temps of Summer came. Last couple
years we've gone from cold to too damn hot in just a matter of days.

Was 40F. early this morning, but supposed to be in the 80's for
the next few days.

Baseball has started, snow is no longer allowed.:laughing7:
