As a dedicated metal detectorist, I encourage fellow MDers to pass the word along that March is “Wear Your Bling to the Beach Month”, via Facebook, X, Bluesky, whatever means and media possible. Lets work together to make March a banner month for finding gold on the beach!
OK, I just made the month up, but if we keep at it for several years people will start to believe it and wear their gold to the beach.

This is the wrong place to post your scheme. Telling the worlds largest collection of detectorists creates your competition. Do it on those other places and specify the exact beach where this huge party will be held along with free drinks for bling wearers and such. they need to swim to a raft to get the beer, and you can search that tomorrow. Getting them swimming and their fingers slippery is key.
