Went down to my old stomping grounds today and met a very old gentleman who offered to let me hunt his cow pasture . Found only 1 keeper but had a blast. If you zoom in on the coin you can actually see the date. 1895 V nickel.

Nice,thanks for sharing!! Ive been metal detecting for almost 3 years now and still havent broken the 1900 barrier!! If i were to find an 1895 it would tickle me pink!! Congrats on a kool coin!
