Well Folks,
For my 2000th post, I thought I'd do something special. I just wanted to make a post in honor of my good detectin' buddy and true friend, Kindafoundabuckle. When I met him in late fall of 2005, I had no idea that our friendship would grow to embrace metal detecting so fully, as well as much, much more. Lets be honest here--when you go detectin with someone for the first time, and pull a beautiful CW sword belt plate out of their site and they aren't jealous over it, you know you've found a true friend. I think I knew it then--but the lasting friendship that our hobby has created for us has been proven over and over again since. For those that don't know Kindafoundabuckle, I can honestly say that it is a great loss for you. He is one of the nicest people you will ever meet.
Before KFB and my first hunt, I was too swamped with work to make a decent stab at detecting. Since January 2006, I've seen tons of great CW relics, old coins, Spanish Reales, relics, and great finds come out of the ground. I owe that to a chance meeting--through an ex-girlfriend--at a mechanic's shop. Since then the friendship has become much more than simply detecting. I even played piano at his wedding this year. KFB, I just wanna say that I'm happy that we met and found a new inspiration to go detectin. After some time away from this detecting addiction, I must say that it's great to be back. Thank you for everything. I know we'll have some more great finds in our hands in 2008. Merry Christmas to you, your wife, and all of your friends. Keep the passion high.

Doing a little golfing at night. Bottle lady and her stories. (I sit in the car on those). Introduction to Fisher and there battery doors. Hey I got it fixed even though you never reminded me. Horse shyt smell in the car (it has not drove right since). The 69 cal minnie photo shoot right in the eyes to Dan the man. Waking up with a grape shot in my back. Hot chick getting permission. The memories with her scarf! YEAH!!! Walking 18 miles at HB's just to watch you dig cool stuff! Just to name a FEW! 
As far as memories go--here are a couple more... You forgot that the shyt smell in your vehicle was the second time. The first was the time I stepped in doggy poo while coinshooting some curbs with ya :P Oh, and watching bleach-blonde homely-looking 19-year olds wash their cars... Or perhaps getting kicked out of a Chicken restaurant... 
And besides the Treasuremobile (R.I.P.) there has been one other causalty: Silver Sabre (R.I.P.). She was a good machine...until that day Buck and Kindabuck decided to go water huntin' without a water machine 
Hee, hee hee! First time I have seen anyone elevated to "God" status on TNET... you must want that buckle pretty bad!!
