Picked up on the same ridgeline in the middle of a Central Indiana corn field that I found a small celt back in October. The corn litter obstructed most of the soil except for the larger of rocks unfortunately and it was a muddy mess due to wet weather recently. Regardless, I felt compelled to see what I could find. I am not sure if these are peck marks or this is just typical weathering. I thought the mid morning light coming through in my office window might provide the proper lighting to elicit some of your opinions. Sides and back are relatively smooth and some type of concretion on one end.
