Someone help me identify this little button

That button is a pre-Civil War 1840 to 1850 Navy Eagle/Anchor button, and depending on the size it looks to be a cap button.

Actually it could be a little older than I thought, I just found this topic here on TN from about 4 years ago and it has the same button and @TheCannonballGuy is saying late 1830s into the 1840s!

Found this little guy today, W PA, about 1/4” dia. What war is it from? Thx
