Don.....

It was an outstanding movie....Patty Duke played Helen Keller:thumbsup:
Wow, thank you. I'd forgotten she lived so long. Time.... After all these years everything kinda blurs in together. Never watched "Miracle Worker", and I should.

I vote for Helen Keller - no politics involved = me, conservative in my approach to the world. We MUST recognize good people and why they are good people. Everyone has value.

Gen. George Patton would be a good one!!:headbang:
They want to change faces on bills there are plenty of founding fathers to chose from, they need a woman Betsy Ross Martha Washington comes to mind... Martha has already been used once in past...

and she is?
and more importantly, which Tnetter does she look like?

Jeff - Not sure who she is - but dang, she is a 10!! pat-tekker-cat thought it was a Pic of her "when she was a bit younger", the first time I posted it.

Originally the plan was to replace Andrew "Paper money is no good" Jackson on the $20. Why the change in direction to the $10 I'll never know. Many Indian reservations and casinos will not accept Jackson bills because of how he betrayed them while in office. It seemed like a win-win for everyone involved. (Removed by mod for politics) And Hamilton won't be completely disappearing from the $10 even when a woman is added. The Treasury has been quoted to say that he will still have some presence on the bill so the woman will still have to share the bill with a guy.

There are many deserving woman in American history. Put one of them on the $20 by herself and let's move on.

Daytona Racer, please keep political comments out of replies. I edited this time but I normally just delete entire post if it violates our rules, especially if it's political insults.

We do have a political forum where politics are allowed under Charter Membership.

Sorry. Didn't realize I was getting too political with that one. Won't happen again.
