My grandfather gave this to me in the early 1970's.
I do not know anything about it.
Any information is much appreciated, and will be shared with others...

Nice ax with some use wear damage on the bit. Can we see the damage area it see if it is recent or ancient? Nice gift

Any ideas on age? Value? Origin? Material made of?
Thanks!

posted some damage pics... THX.

Welcome to the forum!

i have No idea of the age or material, but it would probably do you better as a paper weight than a money maker.
dont get me wrong, it's a nice artifact, but not one that will fetch much money.

Nice grooved axe :icon_thumleft:

Full grooved ax, but the bit damage kinda does it in for value, still a cool relic!

It's is a nice axe ,but like the others have said not worth much since it as damage to the bit end. If I had an artifact that my Grandfather gave me, money could not touch it. Welcome to T-net and thanks for posting this.:hello:

Yes more of a personal value with the damage. But it looks like a old break seeing all is the same color. It would make a nice study piece.
