Could anyone please help me identify the origin of the "Ax" (center) and also the value of it. Thanks in advance for your help!

Where found would be a good start. I see chert and obsidian in your frames. The axe is an unusual design to me with the hafting and bit. Maybe some of these other members can help you some . Good luck.

Thanks a bunch for your time!

classic hoe shape...it looks unused...does it have any areas that look polished on it? How and where did you find it?

Definitely a hoe some people call that shape a spade hoe but either way it is a beauty of a hoe !!!!

Really nice hoe/ spade...

Looks like you have a pretty nice collection, especially that hoe. Awesome Find! :icon_thumleft:

I hope that was a personal find because there are several other Modern Repros in that first tray. These Hoes have been faked before.

A mix of lithics from different areas of the country. The Hoe is very clean....and some of those points as well. I agree with Reaper......

Yes, they are called a notched hoe. It dates to the Mississippian time period and found on Mississippian sites in the central Mississippi River valley and other tributaries. Primarily they are found in central and southern Illinois, southern and eastern Missouri, northern Kentucky, and maybe parts of Indiana. They are commonly made from a material called Mill Creek Chert which yours is made from.

Here's some info on some other ones. St. Clair Side-Notched Hoes Page 1

Unfortunately, as Reaper mentioned, that one looks to be of questionable authenticity.

Hippy

Need close up pics but it does look like a repro to me as well.
