Don't think it's worked stone in my opinion. I don't see any flaking. Natural. Again, my opinion.

It looks like flint. It almost looks like the center of a flint core that could have been used to make musket flints

Anyway then they would break the long shards into gunflint. Not saying that's definitely what you have but it kinda looks like it to me.

looks like chert to me but not a worked piece IMO
