Fossil of some sort is my guess.

What do you think? A hunter found this in the woods hunting. They pulled it out with a machine and now it sits in a town park.
Knowing the size would help a little, but it looks like a large stationary mortar for grinding grain probably coarse .

It’s huge Tony. Not something that was moved around. It was made out of a very large rock. I wish I knew the story about this rock. And why it was made and used for.

No signs of being used to grind corn, center is way to course.
