Was running down an old dirt road next to the hunting camp and this caught my eye. Looks to be a drill, but doesn't look broken at the top. Seems to have been made that way. South Georgia

The ones I find always seem to be missing one end from use. Are you calling it a paddle drill or a pencil drill? Looks like a nice one, congrats
 

I suppose it's a pencil drill, but I am no expert
 

Wouldn't it be a paddle drill given the shape of the base on it? Would that have been hafted?
