Does anyone know anything about this medallion? I found it last week in a 120 year old park in Nashville.

Thanks,

Chuck

I will get measurements out ASAP. The Madalion is Bronze. The items on each side of the tomahawks appear to be smoke coming out from the pipe portion of the tomahawk. Will try to get a better close up of the front and back of the madalion.

the picture of the back looks to show some bubbled up areas around the rim which look like rust. my guess is it is chrome or nickel plated steel, and is most likely a concho type decoration from a kids cowboy holster or belt from the 60's

Looks like artwork seen on some Woodsmen of the World fraternity emblems...maybe? Sub 8-)

I'm sorry, but this doesn't look like an Indian Peace Metal, I agree with Subterranean, maybe a Woodsman of the World metal. Interesting find though.

Doesn't the peace medal generally have hands shaking in friendship?

Yes BosnMate, shaking hands on one side and the bust of the president in office (when the metal's issued) on the other.
