Detector(s) used
Tesoro Cibola, Bounty Hunter 3300 w/4" coil
Hello fellow Diggers. Lots of time to swing latley but little to show for all the effort. I took the new Detector to one of last years productive yards and reworked an area in front of the home that should have yielded a coin or two but had not. Like most of the East Coast, the soil is fully saturated from all the rain of late. With the moist soil and the fact that I'm understanding what the new stick is telling me, I was doing the happy Indian Dance. Netted two Indians (1899, 1883) and some wheat's and Memorial. The dates on the Wheats are 1910, 1920, 1930, 1944, and 1946. I also dug up this Lock plate. From a Steamer Trunk? I hope every one is finding some things that make them happy. chris PS One of the Indians read a solid #66 and was indicated to be a Zincoln so be carefull if you are ever tempted to pass on this signal.

Nice job, Blue. That indian is a beauty. :)

I've heard over and over about revisiting good sites. I guess I should start doing that.

nice finds there !!! i'm in mass, and i do the same thing when i think the ground conditions are good like they have been the last few weeks

lisa, love the new look !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o :o :o :o :o :o :o ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Nice Indians!! It has rained a little in my part of California hopefully I can get the same results and have something to post :(

That one IH is awesome. Great job nice pile of wheaties and some IH's. I think I will be turning my attention to the mountains now. My favorite new little park is 100+ miles round trip so really can't afford to go back playing there very often. So I would image my finds will become a little bit scare, but hopefully the things I do find will be nice like that IH you found.

Congratulations on your finds,

Postalrevnant

All looks good, i wish there were areas hear in Seattle that weren't overly processed that IH's were findable, Most are so water worn that they are hard to read.

congrats

nice finds you should hit the area again in case there is something else left from the trunk

Thanks all. Every so often I clean up a copper and get a coin with a nice surface that shows only a trace of corrosion. All I can figure is that the conditions were just right to have a protective light crust form that encapsulates and protects. What ever the reason is, it sure makes your day. chris.

Hi Chris,

Congarts on the great finds, keep em coming!

Smiles!
