Got out to one of the old parks today. And wasn't a bad morning

Snagged a few wheats right away. 40 and 51

Then got a crusty Indian. Which after I started cleaning is a 1909. Can't see if it is an S mint yet. Sitting in peroxide right now

Also got a really cool token dated 1918. Rally great shape for an old aluminum token

And depending if the Indian is an s or not. My best find was a HUGE iron skeleton key. Rang up at the high end of silver. Around 98 on my eurotek pro. Which has almost always been iron lol
It's sitting in the electrolysis tank right now. And I hope it cleans up but man is it crusty

Big Ole key, neat token as well!

Looks like you pulled some nice keepers. That token is sweet.

Nice...those tokens are cool, yours is in really good shape considering. Did the Giant drop that key when Jack cut down his beanstalk?

that looks like a gate key.they were often hidden near the entrance gate...just a guess

DANG NOW THATS A KEY .....

I am having a hard time running electrolysis on the key for some reason. I think it is the amount of corrosion on it. Just the alligator clip bubbles instead of the whole key. Gonna hit a small spot with a grinder tomorrow to get a better contact
