This one has me stumpt. I thought it was a cartridge at first but now see differently. It is approx 1.5" long and is brass or copper. It is beveled at one end; however the inside diameter does not change from one end to the other. Smooth all along inside surface. Just before the tube tapers, you can see 2 lines which are each completely around the curcumferance and spaced approx. 1/4". I though it might be a ramrod tube from a rifle but there is no flange or mounting hole to affix it to a rifle. No found numerous cartridge cases, bullets, and button from Indian wars in same 50' square area. I hope someone out there can make sense of this.
Thanks very much in advance
