Indiana gold panning

Would appreciate if someone out there could give me a tip on where to pan some gold in Indiana. I live in southern Michigan near Ohio border. I'm planning a weekend camping trip in a couple weeks after my kids get out of school for the summer. I know that everyone who prospects has their secret spots, but if you could tell me where I am most likely to find good color. I am experienced with the pan, but being from Michigan I don't prospect up here. I read that Indiana does have some glacial gold, although small in size. I know we won't get rich, but it would be nice if all family members could find some gold relatively easy when we come down to Indiana. Thanks. Treasure 06

Easy..... not in Indiana...lol You have to move a LOT of buckets of dirt in Indiana to see gold easily in your pan in Indiana. Best bet is a creek sluice for flour gold and start digging a hole, screen it down to the size of sand and run it SLOW through your sluice that has water running slow through it. After every bucket clean out sluice and put con's into blue bowl and then you will see some flour gold, enough to say wow thats gold and not just a random speck in your pan that may be gold....lol

If anyone knows of any place they can go with in driving distance to NW Indiana and wants to go but doesnt have the equipment, I have a highbanker/dredge combo I can set up if there is a water source or I have a self contained highbanker if we have to pack in water and a blue bowl for clean up.....we can both work the area and split what we find....I do need proof of ok to prospect from land owner or other wise of the area.....let me know...THANKS
