Buried Treasure
From "Lexington" by Mary Wilson and Sharon Y. Asher, published sometime after 1975. An old Indian named Saskatohawan, now deceased, told of a cave near Lexington that contained enough gold to "buy the State of Indiana." ... I was born in Kentucky in 1802 and belonged to the Pottawatamite ...

Cave

Siegfried, the story may have a little truth in it. maybe a little gold around lexington. the story has some things in it that come vary close to the swift silver mines of KY. great cave, large store of metal, the cave goes down 10' feet than makes off level, heads southeast. good luck. boomer
