Hey everyone. Somehow 3 out of my 4 banks "forgot" to order my halves this week, :icon_scratch: so I decided to go ahead and buy a box of nickels (which turned out to be a dream!), a box of loomis dimes and 11 boxes of pennies for the weekend. I really am happy with the results so far.

Box of Dimes:
1961 Rosie
1950 Canadian

Box of Nickels:
War Nickels x7!
Buffalo Nickel x3! (No Date, 1926, 1937-d)
1932 King George V
1912 German 10 Pfenning

1st Box of Pennies:
King George V Penny x3 (1931,1932,1933)
2 Possible error pennies? (I would appriciate if I could get some feedback on those!)
ANDDDDD my first Indian Head! (1902) :hello2:

So, hopefully my other 10 boxes of pennies produce another indian head? If not, the copper and wheaties keep me content. I'm still trying to break the 1900 barrier on a coin...hopefully soon.

Take a look, leave some feedback, and HH!,
Cody.

Wow - those are some really great finds! 7 silver nic's, 3 buffs, all those old Canadians and an IH too!

I've never seen Canadian coins that old - they look really cool. The oldest Canadians I have are a '40 cent and a '42 nickel. I've never found any pre-'40 Canadians.

Your doing great Cody - keep it going. :)

Very nice finds there. Congrats on your 1st Indian cent and a nice variety of finds. I'm thinking that the 2nd error coin could be a chip in the die but i'm not sure. I would be interested to hear what others have to say about that. Nice looking older Canadian nickel too. :icon_thumleft:

I appriciate the feedback, thanks. And would the first error probably be a grease filled die then? I'm not very knowledgable at all when it comes to errors. :-\

It does look like a greased filled die. My book has a nice section on errors. If you're into collecting errors, US Coin Digest has a nice section on different types of errors, the rarity and value.

Awesome box of nickels...and congrats on the old pennies as well...especially the Indian Head.

HH,

Nice haul. Congrats on the Indian. Can't help with the errors. :dontknow: :dontknow: :icon_scratch: :icon_scratch:

Pretty big catch of war nickels, too. More silver there than in my last 3K of halves. :tongue3: :tongue3:

I'd rather find an interesting coin than a war nickel though :icon_thumright:

Although, it would be good to find some nice foreign silver :icon_thumleft:

You're preaching to the choir. Haha.

Nice finds!
Do need better photos of the 2 cents, although the 2003 appears to be a plating bubble.

I'll tell ya what, if I score another IH in the 7 boxes of pennies I haven't looked through yet, the newer one is all yours. Haha.
