Infinium vs Surfmaster PI, which goes deeper? Does 10" coil make much difference

Hi all,I know I am sounding like a broken record but I currently own a Surfmaster PI and would like to get another machine. I am leaning toward the Infinium but had some questions about the machine. I posted on the head to head comparison but didn't get too much response about the Whites vs Infinium question. Will the Infinium go deeper than my Whites PI? I don't mind digging junk because when I dive underwater any beep is a good beep!! You never know what you will get. I was just wondering about the Infiniums coil size because when I had a Garrett Sea Hunter the large coil never picked up small items it only picked up large metal!! Does the Infiniums big coils pick up small size items like coins/rings at a good depth? I need this machine to go really deep because the deeper the better, that is where all the gold is!! Just talking from experience!! I have found a ring a day when I was off for a week!! I will post them soon! So any one with much experience with this new machine called the Infinium could you give me some examples of what kind of depth you are getting with it. I think the GARRETT LS is with out a dought the deeps detector out there,for gold that is!!!!

I can answer this one with no doubt. I have owned both and there is no comparison. The Infinium is the deeper and better machine. Along with that, you get much more. Your choice of many coils that you can change on the spot. A discrimination feature with a two tone ID that works and the ability to change from water to land headphones when not in the water which is a plus. Land phones are much more comfortable!

You will find things with the White's. I did. But to compare the two, its Infinium Hands down.
