Never asked for help on a rock before but here goes. Found this on a walk as it was glittering in the sun. Has metallic pieces about the size of chocolate chips in it. The rock is about 3X3. Turns out, as you can see from one of the photos that it magnetic. The rock is extremely heavy, sorry don't have a scale. It is kind of a brown, reddish in color. The metallic pieces are not mica. Was wondering if it might be a meteorite.

I’m not the guy to say, but the magnet sticking and the heavy feel are usually good signs. You came to the right place. I’m sure members will have the right answer for you. 🍀

Copper, could contain iron, nickle and/or pgm's. They will tell yah no, about it being a meteorite. But I say it could be.
