I depends on how you cook 'em as to whether or not you love them or hate them.

He is a chubby little limb rat!

I have to dispatch them weekly, They eat the edge of my shingles, gravity pipes and drop pine cones in my pool.

Nice P.I. work...

Alright, I'll go on record as one of the few who don't shoot 'em or eat 'em.

They are cute, and they were very entertaining for my dog, who loved to chase them around the yard and up the tree - when we had a dog - and when the tree was there.....

At any rate - cute pics!

He's quite ingenious!

They are problem solving little creatures, they always find a way to get to a bird feeder.

I watched a program years ago on discovery about how they figured out how to go through all of these obstacles just to get a small treat.

That is a great video. I havn't seen this guy since Sunday when he got a pellet in the tailend ( after 4 warnings ).He didn't go as far as the ones in the video but he jumped off the feeder and landed about 12 feet away I bet he's still running. His replacements are 2 small very light gray ones but they don't go on the feeder.

I don't mind the little buggers, I figure anything that clever can go ahead and dine with the birds. I don't have too many though because my dogs chase them off. I might think differently if my feeders were overrun.
